Schedule of Events

Saturday, February 21

8:30am – 2pm:  BMO HARRIS BANK ICE SCULPTURE CONTEST – along Washington Avenue.  Registration at Community Center.  Judging starts at 2:00 pm.

                                                                               

9am – Noon:  28th Annual Charity Golf Tournament ICEBURG" GOLF OPEN - Cedarburg Lion’s Club Charity Golf Tournament Cedar Creek Park. Registration and lunch at American Legion Hall on Hilbert and Portland. $40/person includes lunch.

9am:  8th Annual Sno-Ball Tournament sponsored by Cedarburg Parks & Recreation DepartmentBehling Field on Portland Road.

Noon:  3rd Annual Snow Battle ADULT Tournament (18+) – Legion Memorial Park.  Sponsored by Cedarburg Parks & Recreation Department. Yukigassen – Japanese for “Snow Battle.”  Follows a set of safe, fun and competitively sanctioned rules and regulations.  $20 per player.   Youth tournament on Sunday, see schedule.

10am-3pm:  BACTRIAN CAMEL RIDES AND PETTING ZOO at Community Center Parking Lot.  Brought to you by Jo-Don Farms. $5/ride.

10am – 4pm:  Sledding at Stephen Fischer Park, snow conditions permittingFamily skating on Mill Pond and Festive Ice Rink in Cedar Creek Park, ice conditions permitting.  Bring your own skates.

                                     

10am – 4pm:  CEDAR CREEK SETTLEMENT:  Wine Tasting at the Cedar Creek Winery; Anvil Pub & Grille outdoor bar and chili bar

2:00pm                       Barrel Races on the Mill Pond

                   

10am-4pm:  MAKE ‘N TAKE CRAFTS organized and sponsored by Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts. Warm-up at our COFFEE, COCOA AND SWEETS BAR at the Community Center.

 

10am – 4pm:  MARKETPLACE – Upstairs Community Center.  Check out the fun stuff for sale in the marketplace.  Mittens, jewelry, Tastefully Simple, hats, oils, dressing and more. 

10am – 4pm:  CARICATURE ARTIST - Kat Hustedde at Community Center. $15 per drawing.

11am – 1pm:   INDIVIDUAL CHILI CONTEST - Join us at the Community Center as “celebrity” judges award prizes to the best chili cooks in the area.  Pick up a free raffle ticket at the door for your chance to win door prizes generously donated by area businesses.  Prizes for the Individual contest generously donated by WHOLE FOOD MARKETS.

11am – 4pm:  CHILI, HOT DOGS, SUBWAY SUBS, PULL PORK SANDWICH, NACHOS, REFRESHMENTS AND MORE available at Community Center.  Benefits Winter Festival.

Noon – 3pm:  Warm up at Boy Scout House on Riveredge Drive with complimentary donut holes and hot chocolate. Donations to Boy Scout Troop 830 are welcome.  Family skating on Mill Pond, bring your own skates.

1pm – 1:30pm:  WINTER FESTIVAL “FROZEN WONDERLAND” GRAND PARADE - Watch as the PARADE OF BEDS march along Washington Ave. Follow the excitement to the Costumed Bed Races at Mill Pond. Parade Route: St. Francis Borgia, North on Washington Ave., East on Bridge St. to Boy Scout Park.   Sponsored by THE WASHINGTON HOUSE INN.

1:30pm – 2pm:  PORT WASHINGTON STATE BANK “COSTUMED BED RACES ON ICE” at Mill Pond. Come watch the hilarious fun as costumed teams vie for the prize. Prize money to best costumed and top three speed winners.  Can register day of event for $15/team of 5 if space is available.  In case of thaw, bed races are run on Riveredge Dr.

                                       

2pm:  BARREL RACES at Mill Pond. Organized and sponsored by Cedar Creek Settlement Merchant’s Association.  In case of thaw, barrel races will be cancelled. 

2:30pm – 6pm:  "Cool Notes" Musical Talent Competition showcasing musical talent from local communities. Sponsored by the Cedarburg Cultural Center and K-Nation Entertainment. Celebrity judges will select the most talented musician/vocalist.  1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.  Cash prizes.  Located at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.  $10 Entry fee.

 

Saturday Evening

7pm – 9pm:  “COOL BREWS AND TUNES” (Adults only) Cedarburg Community Center at W63 N641 Washington Avenue.  Sunburst Ski ResortFestivals of Cedarburg, Brewligans, and Stilt House Gastro Pub have teamed up to bring you a fun evening out—live music from Piano Brew Dueling Pianos featuring Gary Clausing and Tony Frontier, a sampling of appetizers from Cedarburg’s finest restaurants, a beer tasting featuring a selection of crafts and imports as well as wine from Cedar Creek Winery.  Vote for your favorite home brew presented by the Brewligans.  Food Sampling, Beer Tasting and Live Music Package: $25 per person.  Tickets are on sale Saturday at the Community Center from 10-4pm then at the door starting at 7pm.  Event ends at 9pm.  Must be 21 to attend.

 

Saturday, February 22

 

8am – 11:30am:  PANCAKE BREAKFAST at Community Center coordinated by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.  All you can eat pancakes and sausage, milk, juice and coffee $6 Adult; $4 Children 4-10 yrs; Free 3 yrs & younger.  Product donations from McDonald’s and Kemps.

9am – 11:30am:  Kids Activity – “Pancakes in a Bag” sponsored by Riveredge Nature CenterCommunity Center.  Syrup for sale.

9am – 11:30am:  Kids Activity – Art project sponsored by Cedarburg Cultural CenterCommunity Center.  “CEDARBURG” book for sale.  Proceeds to benefit the Cedarburg Cultural Center.

10:30am:  EGG HUNT on City Hall Grounds. Bring your own basket or bag.  For kids under 7. Coordinated Kindercare.  Candy donated by ASHLEY’S CONFECTIONERY.

 

11am – 11:30am:  MAGIC SHOW in Community Center.

Noon– 4pm:  RESTAURANT CHILI CONTESTCommunity Center - Purchase a CHILI SAMPLER PLATE ($2) representing participating local restaurants. Vote for the Best Chili in a blind taste test (while supplies last).

Noon– 4pm:  Live Music TBD - Community Center.
